Track-POD is a team of professionals making award-winning products and assisting logistics operations on a daily basis. You've met some of the Track-POD app development and customer success teams. This is a mini-interview with Alexandra Kalinovskaya - Track-POD's quality assurance engineer.
I have been working as a QA engineer for 3 years and joined the Track-POD team this year. During this period I am developing my skills and obtaining new experience.
My daily routine is pretty simple. Some main activities are:
Usually, I have at least one meeting with the team where we discuss our plans and tasks.
For me, the most challenging part is looking into technical requirements and aspects. It takes a long time to understand how it should work. I can’t start performing testing until I fully know the matter. But at the same time, such detailed investigation helps to find tricky bugs.
The most rewarding thing from my point of view is the result: high-quality and easy-to-use product as well as happy users who work with the product which meets their expectations.
Lots of people think that it is an easy and useless job but in fact it requires technical skills and a certain way of thinking, the ability to analyze, as well as diligence and perseverance.
My favorite app is Notion. It is an all-in-one workspace for notes, data, and task management. It helps schedule tasks, store information in one place, set reminders, organize the work. It has a very simple and user-friendly design and tons of useful features.

Track-POD is an amazing product. The development has involved much time, work, and effort. And we keep working on it and improving it every day to make users even more satisfied than ever before.
